This song had been sitting in my iphone memos for a long time. I would come back to it every so often and it never went away, and I usually take that as a good excuse to record a song. The recording process was actually really fun and new for us. Our drummer Dustin Ragland recently moved to Atlanta, while the rest of us are still in Oklahoma. But we were able to essentially work together over Zoom, and I have to say it worked beautifully. In many ways it felt like we were in the same room as normal.

This song is an internal Christmas journey I guess you could say.
